A more useful Brain
Echo’s Brain is now a structured, editable home for the personal context you want Echo to remember.
You can manage personal profile fields, projects, people, goals, interests, education, work history, preferences, and other expandable records. Brain records retain their source, lifecycle, and sensitivity so you can see what Echo knows and control what remains active.
Context when it is relevant
Echo no longer needs to send broad personal context into every task. For a specific question or creative task, it finds the smallest relevant set of records and respects your sensitive-context settings.
Sensitive information is excluded by default. You decide when sensitive context can be used.
Connected AI assistants
Connected assistants can now discover relevant Brain subjects and request narrow, read-only context for an explicit task. Echo remains the canonical source, and assistants do not receive a complete Brain export by default.
Context receipts
Echo records what context was used without storing the full request or generated response. In Brain, you can review:
- Which records were selected
- Whether the request came from Echo or a connected assistant
- Which model used the context
- Whether sensitive context was requested or included
Capture development and writing-in-your-voice workflows now use the same bounded context router.
