Privacy Policy
Echo is operated by Nithin Mukundan. This policy describes Echo Cloud at getecho.cloud, including access through connected AI assistants.
What Echo collects
We store your account and profile details, the ideas and files you choose to save, your writing and Voice material, Brain entries and their sources, connected-assistant activity, settings, and records needed to operate and secure your account. If you connect a provider or social sign-in, we store the connection information needed to use it. Echo processes AI prompts and responses when you ask it to perform an action.
How Echo uses it
We use this information to provide your private workspace, retrieve relevant context for an action you request, generate drafts, maintain connections, provide support, and protect the service. Brain intake is controlled by you; sensitive intake is off by default. Product-improvement samples are collected only if you opt in, and withdrawing consent deletes those samples.
Who receives data
When you connect Echo to ChatGPT, Codex, or another assistant, that assistant receives the Echo content returned by tools it invokes. When you request an AI action, relevant context may be sent to your selected AI provider or Echo's managed provider route. Your own provider connection takes precedence where supported. These providers apply their own privacy terms. Echo also uses service providers for hosting, storage, email delivery, authentication, and operations. We do not publish your saved content or sell it to advertisers.
Retention and deletion
Your saved workspace content stays until you remove it or delete your account. Brain export downloads expire after 24 hours; deleting your account also removes generated export archives and uploaded files. Withdrawing product-improvement consent deletes collected samples. Echo's Laravel Cloud database currently has automatic backups disabled (zero days of backup retention). Laravel Cloud retains application and access logs in its log viewer for up to one day on Echo's current Starter plan; its storage quota can shorten that period.
Your choices
You can review and edit your Brain, control sensitive intake and product-improvement consent, disconnect assistants and providers, export your data, and delete your account from Echo. Disconnecting in Echo does not remove a connection from the assistant's own settings; remove it there too. To request access, correction, or deletion help, email hello@getecho.cloud.
